Jerusalem (HRNW)- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel’s military campaign against Iran and its regional proxies is not yet over.
According to an international news agency, the Israeli Prime Minister made these remarks during a televised address to the public.
Netanyahu said that although efforts are underway to reach a ceasefire, Israel’s operations are still ongoing and not yet complete. He added that Israel has achieved what he described as “historic results,” claiming that Iranian leadership and military capabilities have been significantly weakened.
He further stated that Iran’s enriched uranium reserves would be eliminated either through a negotiated agreement or by other means if necessary.
The Israeli Prime Minister also claimed that Iran is seeking a ceasefire due to internal pressure and that its government is currently weakened and struggling for survival.
Netanyahu additionally said he has approved direct talks with Lebanon, expected to take place in Washington next week. He stressed that any agreement with Lebanon must be comprehensive, with the disarmament of Hezbollah as a key priority.
Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that ceasefire-related discussions between the United States and Iran are currently underway in Islamabad, hosted by Pakistan.
