1000 Days of Dr. Yasmin Rashid’s Imprisonment Marked as Symbol of Resistance and Women’s Courage

Lahore (HRNW)- Today marks the 1000th day of Dr. Yasmin Rashid’s unjust imprisonment. Despite sacrificing her life and property, this 76-year-old cancer survivor and life-saving hospital worker refused to bow down to the oppressor and stood firm with Imran Khan.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid is not only a political prisoner but has become a symbol of the pride, perseverance and determination of Pakistani women. Even her age of 76 and cancer did not weaken her morale.

Experts and political circles say that when men were faltering, Dr. Yasmin Rashid stood firm like a wall for democracy and truth. Her name will be written in golden letters in history as the true gender iron of the Pakistani nation.
