Islamabad (HRNW): A new Chairperson has been appointed for the Implementation Tribunal for Newspaper Employees (ITNE), an institution established to address matters related to the rights and employment issues of media workers and journalists.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, Zill-e-Huma has been appointed as the Chairperson of ITNE for a period of three years.
The ITNE deals with service-related matters, outstanding dues, and other employment issues concerning newspaper employees, journalists, and media workers.
Media organizations and journalist representatives have emphasized that an effective and functional ITNE can play an important role in protecting the professional, financial, and legal rights of media workers and ensuring timely resolution of workplace disputes.
