Dubai (HRNW)- Reports of multiple explosions have emerged in the Jebel Ali industrial area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, followed by a major fire that sent thick clouds of smoke rising into the sky.
According to the Iranian broadcaster Press TV, various sources claimed that the explosions triggered a fire in the coastal area of the United Arab Emirates.
Arab media, citing local sources, reported that at least seven explosions were heard over a period of approximately 20 minutes in the Jebel Ali industrial area, causing concern among residents and businesses in the vicinity.
The UAE authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the nature of the explosions, their cause, or any possible casualties or damage to property.
It remains unclear whether the incident resulted from an industrial accident or another cause. Authorities are expected to investigate the incident to determine the exact circumstances.
Jebel Ali Port is one of the Middle East’s most important commercial ports, handling a large volume of international shipping and cargo traffic each day. Any major incident in the area is therefore considered significant for regional trade and maritime transport.
A clearer picture of the incident and its impact is expected to emerge as more official information becomes available.
