Karachi (HRNW): A total of 451 people have lost their lives and 5,259 have been injured in road accidents across different areas of Karachi during the year 2026 so far.
According to the data, the deceased include 346 men, 53 women, 41 children, and 11 girls, bringing the total fatalities to 451.
The statistics further show that among the injured are 4,005 men, 911 women, 259 children, and 84 girls, taking the total number of injured persons to 5,259.
Traffic experts have termed the rising number of accidents as alarming and stressed the need for strict enforcement of traffic laws and improved road safety measures.
