KARACHI (HRNW) – Landhi Police have intensified operations against street criminals and possessors of illegal weapons, executing a successful raid based on intelligence reports. Acting on a confidential tip-off, police teams apprehended a recurring street criminal equipped with an illegal firearm and ammunition.

Raid Location and Apprehension of the Suspect

Intelligence-Led Operation: Upon receiving credible information, Landhi Police moved swiftly to establish a cordon along the Inner Road, Area 3/A, Landhi No. 3, intercepting and detaining the suspect.

Identity of the Suspect: The arrested street criminal has been identified as Junaid, son of Muhammad Musa.

Seizure of Firearm: During the body search, law enforcement personnel recovered an illegal .30 caliber pistol along with live rounds from his possession, which have been confiscated for forensic records.
Registration of FIR and Transfer of Investigation

Formal Charges Filed: Following the weapon recovery, a formal case has been registered against Junaid at the Landhi Police Station under FIR No. 301/26, pursuant to Section 23(1)A of the Sindh Arms Act 2013.

Transferred to Investigation Wing: The custody of the arrested suspect has been handed over to the Investigation Department for rigorous interrogation to trace his involvement in recent street crime incidents across the locality.
