Mayor Zohran Mamdani Demands Immediate End to Iran War

NEW YORK (HRNW) – The Mayor of New York State, Zohran Mamdani, has strongly demanded an immediate cessation of the ongoing war with Iran. In a media interaction, the Mayor explicitly stated that a war was initiated for which no one had cast a vote. He highlighted the catastrophic human toll of the conflict, noting that thousands of innocent civilians have lost their lives as a direct result of the hostilities. Furthermore, Mayor Mamdani confirmed that 13 US service members have been killed in action during the conflict. Emphasizing the socio-economic fallout of the military campaign, he stated that the actual burden of this war is falling squarely on ordinary citizens, who are now being forced to pay a heavy price for it.
