Karachi (HRNW): The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has made significant progress in the investigation into the murder of young Mir Raza by completing the forensic examination and digital analysis of his smartwatch and mobile phone. According to investigative sources, data that had previously been deleted from the electronic devices has been successfully recovered, potentially providing crucial evidence for the case.
Sources said that investigators expect another major breakthrough within the next 48 hours as forensic findings continue to be analyzed alongside other evidence.
As part of the investigation, authorities have obtained CCTV footage recorded at approximately 8:00 a.m. on July 29, showing a garbage collector remaining near the crime scene for nearly eight minutes.
Investigators suspect that the individual may have removed the weapon from the scene after the incident. However, officials emphasized that this remains an investigative lead and has not been confirmed. Efforts are underway to identify and locate the individual.
CTD officials stated that the investigation is being conducted using scientific methods, digital evidence, and forensic analysis, and that any legal action will be based solely on verified evidence.
