The Deceptive Attempt: A female passenger, identified as Shabana Bibi, attempted to bypass immigration clearance to board a flight to Oman by presenting a “Relative Joining Visa.”

Fake Marriage Certificate: The passenger claimed she was traveling to Oman to reunite with her husband; however, a primary inspection of her documents by immigration officers revealed that her submitted Marriage Registration Certificate was completely counterfeit.
Device Search Exposes Matrimonial Contradiction

Digital Evidence Discovered: Suspicions deepened, prompting trained FIA officers to conduct a thorough examination of the passenger’s mobile phone.

Two Marriage Certificates: The digital search led to the recovery of a second, entirely separate marriage certificate stored on her device, exposing a severe contradiction in her marital status and uncovering the operational fraud.

Human Trafficking Case: Preliminary interrogation confirmed that the Omani visa and both matrimonial documents were procured through highly suspicious and illegal channels, establishing a clear case of visa fraud and human smuggling.

Handed Over to AHTC: FIA Immigration immediately offloaded Shabana Bibi from the flight and transferred her custody to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) Islamabad for rigorous legal action.
Immigration authorities have confiscated the suspect’s mobile phone, passport, counterfeit visa, and all associated fraudulent documentation. The scope of the investigation has been broadened to track down the facilitation network and agents responsible for sending citizens abroad on fake documentation.
