Karachi (HRNW)- With the approval of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, all government and private schools across the province will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
According to a spokesperson for the Sindh Education Department, teaching hours will be increased by one hour under the new arrangement to ensure that educational activities continue effectively despite the revised weekly schedule.
The spokesperson said the decision has been taken in line with the Sindh government’s austerity measures and to ensure the effective utilization of available resources.
