Karachi (HRNW) – Gold prices increased on Tuesday after a gap of three days in both international and local bullion markets.
The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market rose by $28.29, reaching $4,326.27 per ounce.
In local bullion markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs2,830, reaching Rs455,063, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs2,306 to Rs389,534.
Meanwhile, silver prices also witnessed an upward trend. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs141 to Rs7,314, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs129 to Rs6,245.
Market analysts attribute the increase in precious metal prices to fluctuations in global markets and investor demand.
