Panjgur (HRNW) – Security forces killed six suspected militants during an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan and recovered weapons, explosives and a vehicle from their possession.
According to a statement issued by the ISPR, security forces conducted the operation on the night between June 3 and June 4 after receiving information about the presence of militants in the area.
The statement said that security personnel targeted multiple suspected hideouts during the operation. Following an intense exchange of fire, six suspected militants were killed.
Security forces also recovered weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle from the deceased individuals. According to security officials, the suspects were allegedly involved in a number of militant activities in the region.
Clearance and search operations are continuing in the area to ensure that no additional militants remain present.
The statement added that, under the National Action Plan’s commitment to stability, security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue counterterrorism operations aimed at eliminating militancy and maintaining peace and security across the country.
