Trump Criticizes Pope Leo as “Weak and Dangerous,” Reiterates Hard Line on Iran

Washington (HRNW)- US President Donald Trump has strongly criticized Pope Leo, the leader of the Catholic Church, calling him a “weak and dangerous” figure, a statement that is expected to spark global debate.

In his remarks, President Trump said he is not a supporter of Pope Leo, alleging that the Pope is weak on criminal justice issues and holds a poor stance on foreign policy matters.

President Trump also reaffirmed his firm position on Iran, stating that a ceasefire is currently in place and that negotiations between the two sides lasted for 21 hours. However, he added that he does not care whether Iran returns to the negotiating table or not.

He further claimed that the United States possesses larger oil reserves than Russia and Saudi Arabia and stated that a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is ongoing, preventing Iran from selling oil in the global market.

The US President asserted that Iran will not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons and claimed that US actions have significantly damaged Iran’s military and naval capabilities, including the destruction of several Iranian naval vessels. He said Iran is currently facing difficult conditions.

According to experts, these statements could further intensify already rising tensions with Iran and also trigger broader religious and diplomatic controversies at the international level.
