Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has reacted sharply to US President Donald Trump’s statement regarding the Strait of Hormuz, taking a sarcastic approach.
He said, “After the so-called blockade, you will soon miss the $4-5 petrol.” Qalibaf warned that no attempt should be made to test Iran’s resolve again, otherwise a strong response would be given.
According to him, Iran will not be intimidated by any threat, and if the US chooses the path of war, Iran will also respond forcefully, while the doors to talks are open in the event of negotiations.
On the other hand, the Iranian delegation has said that Iran has taken positive steps in good faith, as a result of which progress has been made in the ongoing negotiations.
