Bilawal Bhutto Says Gilgit-Baltistan’s Decisions Should Be Made by Its People, Not Islamabad Bureaucrats

Shigar (HRNW)- Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari addressed an election rally in Shigar, Gilgit-Baltistan, where he emphasized the importance of local decision-making, transparent elections and the protection of the public mandate.

Addressing supporters during the election campaign, Bilawal Bhutto said that the future and decisions of Gilgit-Baltistan should be determined by its people rather than by officials or bureaucrats sitting in Islamabad.

Commenting on the electoral process, he remarked that “the people will arrange Form 45 and I will arrange Form 47,” while expressing hope that no seat would be “stolen” from his party during the upcoming elections.

The PPP chairman reiterated his party’s commitment to safeguarding democratic rights and ensuring transparent electoral practices in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Bilawal Bhutto further stated that the Pakistan Peoples Party would continue its struggle for the rights of the people and work towards strengthening democratic institutions and public representation in the region.
