Islamabad (HRNW)- Pakistan Navy has successfully conducted a live weapon firing test under the capability to target targets with precision at sea, in which a locally developed ship-launched anti-ship ballistic missile was successfully tested.
According to the spokesperson, the missile accurately hit its target at very high speed and long range, which is being described as a significant breakthrough in naval defense capability.
The missile test was witnessed by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf along with eminent scientists and engineers. According to officials, the missile is equipped with a state-of-the-art guidance system and high level of maneuverability, which gives it the ability to avoid threats and accurately target targets in changing conditions.
The statement said that the successful test of this locally developed missile is a testament to the technical expertise and operational readiness of the Pakistan Navy. This test reflects the reliable defense capability in the naval field and the commitment to peace and stability in the region.
The President, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Chief of Defense Forces and Services Chiefs have congratulated the relevant units and scientists on this successful experiment.
