Karachi (HRNW): The Sindh High Court has taken action against corruption and misconduct by compulsorily retiring Senior Civil Judge Ayaz Ali Kanasro after allegations of corruption and misconduct were found to be proven.
According to the Sindh High Court, Chief Justice of Sindh High Court Justice Zafar Rajput ordered the compulsory retirement of Senior Civil Judge Ayaz Ali Kanasro following the establishment of corruption-related charges against him.
The inquiry into the matter was conducted by Inquiry Officer Justice Shamsuddin Abbasi, who carried out a detailed investigation into the case. Following the inquiry, the competent authority had recommended the dismissal of the judge from service.
However, after conducting the final hearing and reviewing all relevant facts and records, the Chief Justice decided to impose the punishment of compulsory retirement instead of dismissal.
The order issued by the Sindh High Court has been made effective immediately.
