Islamabad (HRNW): Saudi Arabia’s new national airline Riyadh Air has announced the launch of direct flight operations to Pakistan, a move expected to strengthen air connectivity, trade, tourism, and travel links between the two countries.
According to Riyadh Air, direct flights to Pakistan will begin in August, with services planned between Riyadh and the Pakistani cities of Islamabad and Lahore.
The airline announced that daily direct flights between Riyadh and Islamabad will commence from 14 August, while flights between Riyadh and Lahore will operate three times a week starting from 18 August.
Riyadh Air has also opened ticket bookings for both routes.
Officials said the new air services are expected to enhance people-to-people connections between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and provide greater opportunities for business, tourism, and other travel activities.
