Islamabad (HRNW): The National Highways and Motorway Police have announced a major safety decision, making it mandatory for all passenger and cargo vehicles traveling on highways and motorways to carry a fire extinguisher.
According to a spokesperson, the decision has been taken in view of the increasing risk of fire incidents during road accidents, with the aim of protecting human lives and property.
The spokesperson further stated that this measure will improve emergency response during accidents and help reduce the severity of fire-related incidents on highways.
