Muzaffarabad (HRNW)- The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Kashmir Election Cell has submitted a letter to the Election Commission, rejecting the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) allegations of rigging in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections as baseless and without evidence.
According to HRNW News, the PML-N submitted its written response to the Election Commission regarding the PPP’s complaint in LA-31, stating that Raja Saqib Majeed and party workers participated in the electoral process in accordance with the Election Commission’s code of conduct.
The PML-N maintained that polling in LA-31 remained peaceful, transparent and orderly, adding that the PPP’s allegations were an attempt to make a fair electoral process controversial.
The party further stated that every complaint should be decided strictly on the basis of evidence and legal requirements, and that no action should be taken against any candidate or party worker without credible proof.
The PML-N Election Cell also urged the Election Commission to ensure the peaceful and transparent completion of polling in LA-31, maintain impartiality throughout the electoral process and uphold respect for the public mandate.
