Islamabad (HRNW)- Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam has said that no challenge or external factor can weaken the longstanding relations between Iran and Pakistan, describing the ties between the two neighboring countries as a model of sincere cooperation and mutual respect in the region.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, Ambassador Amiri Moghadam said the friendship and brotherly relations between Iran and Pakistan can serve as an example for the entire region of mutual respect, true brotherhood, good neighborly relations and the spirit of “we can do it.”
He said that the relationship of trust and solidarity between the two neighboring countries is higher than Mount Damavand and K-2, the world’s second-highest peak located on the border of Pakistan and China.
The Iranian ambassador said that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei had also emphasized the importance of Iran-Pakistan relations in his first Nowruz message and stressed the need for continued cooperation between the two countries.
Reza Amiri Moghadam stated that relations between Iran and Pakistan have reached a stage where no challenge, development or external factor can weaken or affect the friendship and brotherly ties between the two nations.
He referred to the visit of a high-level Pakistani delegation, including the Prime Minister and Field Marshal, to Tehran and their participation in the farewell ceremony of the martyr of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, describing the visit as a strong symbol of solidarity and mutual respect.
The ambassador also highlighted numerous high-level exchanges between the two countries over the past two years, including two visits by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Pakistan, several visits by the Pakistani Prime Minister to Tehran, visits by Field Marshal Asim Munir, and meetings between other senior officials.
He said these exchanges demonstrate the depth of friendship, brotherhood, solidarity and cooperation between Iran and Pakistan at every level.
Reza Amiri Moghadam stressed that the historical relationship between the two countries has successfully withstood every test of time because it is rooted in centuries of shared history, civilization, faith and culture.
The Iranian ambassador expressed hope that all Muslim and neighboring countries in the region would work together in an atmosphere of peace, stability and security to build a future based on development, prosperity and sustainable well-being for their people.
