Islamabad (HRNW): Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarar has announced that the government has significantly reduced the petrol quota for federal ministers under its austerity campaign.
He stated that the monthly petrol quota for ministers has been reduced from 400 liters to 200 liters.
According to him, the government is implementing various measures to reduce expenditures and promote financial discipline. He added that as a result of the austerity drive, ministers’ perks and privileges have already been substantially curtailed.
The federal law minister further said that if anyone has concerns even about the revised 200-liter quota, the matter can be discussed. However, he emphasized that the government remains committed to reducing the burden on the national exchequer through strict austerity and better utilization of resources.
