Islamabad (HRNW): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has issued arrest warrants for the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders in a case related to the martyrdom of a police officer during the October 4, 2025 protest.
The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra. During proceedings, the court issued arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
The court also declared several accused, including Omar Ayub, Amir Mughal, and Hafeez-ur-Rehman, as proclaimed offenders.
During the hearing, PTI leader Azam Swati appeared before the court, and the tribunal decided to continue proceedings in his case.
According to police, the case was registered at Noon Police Station in Islamabad. The court has adjourned further hearing until the next date.
