PM Shehbaz Sharif Orders More Facilities in Apna Ghar Scheme to Help Low- and Middle-Income Families Own Homes

Islamabad (HRNW)- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued instructions to add more facilities to the “Apna Ghar Scheme” to facilitate low- and middle-income groups in acquiring home ownership.

According to details, the Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to further simplify the procedure for obtaining loans under the scheme, speed up the approval process of applications, and ensure that the maximum number of deserving citizens benefit from the program.

He emphasized that making the dream of owning a home a reality for ordinary citizens remains one of the government’s top priorities.

During a meeting reviewing the progress of the scheme, various proposals were considered, including relaxation of loan conditions, extension of repayment periods, and the establishment of additional facilitation centers for applicants.

The Prime Minister said that the development of the housing sector would not only provide better housing opportunities to the public but also create employment opportunities in the construction industry and related sectors.

He directed the relevant ministries and financial institutions to ensure transparency and effectiveness in the implementation of the scheme.
