Sydney (HRNW)- Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja has spent millions of dollars from his retirement fund to build a mosque and a madrasa, where the first Taraweeh prayers have been performed.
Usman Khawaja used the money he received from the cricket board to create a way for children to learn the Quran for the sake of Allah, while this money could have been spent on business or other personal amenities.
Social media and the public praised Usman Khawaja’s step, calling it an exemplary and wonderful service to humanity.
