Karachi (HRNW): Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho met a delegation of the Sindh Hindu Panchayat at the Central Police Office in Karachi.
The delegation was led by Mukhi Dr. Suresh Kumar Talreja, and included Dr. Ramesh Kumar and other members.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the IG Sindh about issues and concerns faced by the Hindu community. Matters related to challenges faced by minorities in Kashmore district were also discussed in detail.
IG Sindh stated that the protection of life and property of minority communities remains a top priority of the Sindh Police. He added that all possible measures are being taken to address the concerns of the Hindu community and other minorities.
He further said that Sindh Police is in continuous contact with minority communities to ensure timely resolution of their issues.
The delegation appreciated the efforts of the Sindh Police for the protection of minorities.
The meeting also discussed mutual cooperation, religious harmony, and law and order situation in the province.
The meeting was attended by Mukhi Vinod, Mahesh Talreja, Ramesh Lal, and the AIG Operations.
