ISLAMABAD (HRNW): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi chaired a high-level meeting to review ongoing and upcoming developmental projects in the federal capital. During the session, several landmark decisions were made to improve governance and public facilities in Islamabad.
The meeting reached the following key conclusions:

Digitalization of CDA: It was decided that all records of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) will be fully digitalized within 120 days.

Online Tracking: This digital shift will enable citizens to monitor the status of their applications and files online.

Action Against Illegal Societies: Minister Naqvi clarified that no illegal housing society will be permitted to operate within Islamabad.

International Projects: Pre-qualification of three international companies for the construction of a new Convention Center, Expo Center, and Islamabad Arena has been completed.

SCO Summit Deadline: Directions were issued to complete these major infrastructure projects before the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.

New Public Facilities: Land has been allocated for a “Khidmat Markaz” (Service Center) in F-6 to facilitate citizens.

Recreational Developments: Orders were given to expedite work on a Water Park, Amusement Park, Zip Line, Hot Air Balloon, and Top Golf projects.

Park Upgrades: Plans were discussed to develop F-9 Park on the pattern of London’s Hyde Park and to introduce recreational facilities around Shahdara Dam.

Beautification and Lighting: Immediate instructions were issued to start beautification and lighting work on the Expressway and Club Road.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also lauded the Chairman of the CDA and other officials for uncovering corruption scandals within the authority, reiterating that no leniency will be shown to those involved in corrupt practices.
