Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Meets US Ambassador, Discusses Regional Situation and Security for Talks

Islamabad (HRNW)- Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the US Embassy in the Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad, where he met with US Ambassador Natalie Baker.

During the meeting, the promotion of Pak-US relations and the overall situation in the region were discussed in detail. On this occasion, the security arrangements made for the second round of talks underway in Islamabad were also discussed. The US Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s role in reducing tension in the region and expressed hope for continued cooperation.

While informing the delegation about the security arrangements, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that special security measures have been taken for foreign guests so that the atmosphere of the talks remains safe and peaceful.

He said that the government hopes for the success of the second round of talks and also expressed his best wishes for it.
