Lahore (HRNW): Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has assumed the responsibilities of Acting Governor of Punjab during the official foreign visit of the Governor of Punjab.
According to an official notification, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan will perform the constitutional duties of the Acting Governor for the duration of the Governor’s overseas visit, ensuring the continuity of the province’s constitutional and administrative functions.
Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar has taken charge as the Acting Speaker of the Punjab Assembly to oversee the Assembly’s proceedings during the Speaker’s temporary assignment.
The Punjab Assembly Secretariat has issued an official notification confirming the temporary appointments.
