Madinah (HRNW)- Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif visited the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (peace be upon him) at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. On this occasion, the doors of the Holy Shrine were specially opened for the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif performed Nawafil prayers during his visit to the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and offered special prayers for the security, stability and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah and Pakistan. He also prayed for the development of the country, the welfare of the people and peace in the Islamic world at the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
According to sources, special security arrangements were made for the Prime Minister’s visit, while the administration of the Prophet’s Mosque (peace be upon him) provided the Prime Minister and his delegation with access to the Holy Shrine.
Government circles say that this spiritual visit of the Prime Minister is also a reflection of the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and this visit is being considered very important.
