Economist Jeffrey Sachs Criticizes Trump’s Policies and Statements

Washington (HRNW)- Columbia University economist and professor Jeffrey Six has strongly criticized former US President Donald Trump’s policies, statements and social media posts, raising questions about his behavior.

Professor Jeffrey Six described the tensions with Iran, failed negotiations and US foreign policy as disorganized and opaque. He said that the current situation gives the impression of chaos rather than a coherent strategy.

He said that Trump’s policy and statements seem to revolve around an individual and it seems that he tries to achieve goals through threats, pressure and harsh statements, which according to him reflects an inconsistent and frivolous behavior.

Professor Six added that Trump’s recent posts and statements are unusual and different from the traditional political language of US presidents, which is also being debated in political and academic circles.

According to him, there is a lack of clear continuity and direction in current American policymaking, which is raising various questions at the global level as well.
