Sanghar (HRNW): Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Shazia Atta Marri has taken notice of the alleged murder of a woman in Chak No. 81, within the jurisdiction of Mangli Police Station in Sanghar, expressing deep sorrow and concern over the incident.
In an official statement, Shazia Atta Marri described the alleged killing as a tragic and condemnable act. She directed police authorities to conduct a transparent, impartial, and thorough investigation and ensure that all individuals responsible are arrested without delay and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
She stated that during the initial investigation, police had taken the victim’s two nephews into custody for questioning. Meanwhile, raids are being conducted at multiple locations to arrest the prime suspect, who, according to preliminary information, is the victim’s husband.
Shazia Atta Marri expressed hope that the main suspect would be apprehended soon so that justice could be delivered to the victim’s family. She further emphasized that violence against women and such tragic incidents are unacceptable under any circumstances and reaffirmed that every possible effort should be made to ensure justice for the affected family.
