Rawalpindi (HRNW) – Police have launched an investigation after a married woman was found dead in an apparent suicide incident in the Mohalla Kashmirian Adra area, within the jurisdiction of Aree Bazaar Police Station in Rawalpindi.
According to police, officers responded immediately after receiving information about the incident and initiated legal proceedings at the scene. The woman’s husband reportedly told investigators that they had been married for approximately four years and that she allegedly entered the bathroom and fatally shot herself.
Police stated that forensic evidence is being collected from the scene, while the deceased’s body has been transferred for legal formalities and a post-mortem examination.
Authorities emphasized that the actual circumstances and cause of the woman’s death will only be determined after the completion of the post-mortem, forensic analysis, and the ongoing investigation. Police said all aspects of the case are being examined before any final conclusions are drawn.
