Iran Rejects Trump’s Claims of Imminent US Deal, Says No Agreement Finalized Yet

Tehran (HRNW)- Iran has rejected US President Donald Trump’s claims regarding a possible agreement between Tehran and Washington, clarifying that no final deal has been reached so far.

According to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai, reports regarding the date and location of the signing of any agreement are merely speculative and do not reflect the current status of negotiations.

The spokesman stated that a significant portion of the draft agreement has been completed, but repeated changes in the US position have affected the pace and progress of the talks.

Esmail Baqai further said that Qatar and Pakistan are playing an important mediating role in the ongoing diplomatic process between the two countries. However, he emphasized that Iran will not compromise on its core principles, national interests, or established red lines.

The statement comes amid continued international attention on efforts to ease tensions between Iran and the United States, with diplomatic contacts and mediation initiatives reportedly continuing through regional partners.
