London (HRNW) – British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has accused technology billionaire Elon Musk of attempting to deepen political and social divisions in the United Kingdom through his comments and activities related to British affairs.
According to British media reports, Prime Minister Starmer said there have been increasing signs in recent days of Elon Musk’s involvement in public debate and political discussions in the UK, raising concerns within the government.
The Prime Minister stated that Musk has been commenting on Britain’s internal matters for some time and that these remarks are being viewed by some observers as efforts to influence domestic political discourse.
Referring to the situation that emerged following the murder of Henry Novak, Starmer stressed that such tragic and sensitive incidents should serve as opportunities to promote national unity rather than create further divisions within society.
During a meeting with the family of Henry Novak, the Prime Minister expressed his condolences and said that the victim’s memory should be transformed into a positive and lasting legacy that encourages social improvement, understanding and solidarity.
Meanwhile, Starmer also voiced support for a Member of Parliament pursuing legal action against an artificial intelligence chatbot associated with Elon Musk. The British government maintains that online platforms and AI systems should be used responsibly to prevent the spread of misinformation, harmful content and online abuse.
The remarks come amid growing international debate over Elon Musk’s political statements and social media activity, with questions increasingly being raised about his influence on public discourse in the United Kingdom and other countries.
