KARACHI (HRNW) – A significant meeting regarding the Karachi Water Project was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to review the ongoing initiatives aimed at improving the city’s water and sewerage infrastructure.
During the meeting, the progress of the “Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project” (KWSSIP) was evaluated in detail. A comprehensive roadmap was discussed to ensure the achievement of key project milestones by next month.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stated that Karachi’s water and sewerage infrastructure stands as the biggest challenge for the province. He directed the relevant authorities to ensure that all reform and development projects are completed with complete transparency and within the stipulated time frame.
Murad Ali Shah added that the primary objective of the government is to transform the system into a modern, functional, and financially viable water utility to provide better water supply and sanitation facilities to the citizens.
