Canada Summons Israeli Ambassador Over Gaza Flotilla Arrests, Seeks Safety Assurance for Citizens

Ottawa (HRNW) – Canada has summoned the Israeli ambassador over the arrests linked to the Gaza flotilla incident, according to media reports.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also responded to comments made by Ben-Gvir in a video statement reported by the media.

The Canadian Foreign Minister has directed the Israeli ambassador to provide clarification regarding the safety and well-being of Canadian citizens involved in the incident.

The Prime Minister said that Canada has already imposed strict sanctions on Ben-Gvir, including an asset freeze and a travel ban, due to repeated statements that allegedly incite violence.
