Tehran (HRNW) – Iran has issued a strong reaction to threats of possible US military action, claiming it possesses advanced weapons that have not yet been used on any battlefield.
According to Russian news agency reports, an Iranian military source said that Iran has developed advanced indigenous defensive and offensive capabilities that have neither been deployed nor tested in real combat conditions.
The source warned that if the United States launches any attack again, Iran will not show restraint this time and is fully prepared for any escalation.
Iranian officials also emphasized that the country faces no shortage of defense equipment or military capability and is fully capable of defending itself against any external threat.
The statement comes after US President Donald Trump recently threatened military action against Iran, saying that stronger measures could be taken if negotiations fail.
Meanwhile, Western officials continue to express concern over Iran’s missile program and military capabilities, while Tehran maintains that its defense program is strictly for national security purposes.
Experts warn that rising tensions between Iran and the United States could trigger a broader regional crisis, particularly raising concerns over the security of the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf region.
