Moscow (HRNW) – Russia has stated that the resolution of the Iran crisis is only possible through diplomatic negotiations, stressing that Iran’s interests must be fully respected in any future agreement.
According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, diplomacy rather than force remains the only effective way to reduce current tensions in the region.
She said Russia is ready to assist both sides in implementing any agreement if Iran and the United States reach a settlement through negotiations.
Zakharova also emphasized that decisions regarding Iran’s uranium reserves must be taken solely by Iran itself, without external pressure or interference.
The statement comes amid growing global concern over escalating tensions between Iran and the United States, particularly regarding the nuclear issue and wider instability in the Middle East.
Analysts note that Russia has consistently pushed for a negotiated settlement to avoid further escalation and to maintain regional stability.
