Jerusalem (HRNW)- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed that all the “masterminds” involved in the October 7, 2023 attack have been eliminated. He made the statement during a weekly cabinet meeting.

Netanyahu said his government had already decided that those responsible for the attack and hostage kidnappings would be targeted one by one, adding that the mission is now in its final stages.

He also stated that the Israeli military has announced the killing of a key commander of Hamas’s military wing.

The Israeli Prime Minister further claimed that Israeli forces currently control around 60 percent of the Gaza Strip, saying that military operations are expanding with the aim of preventing Gaza from posing a future threat to Israel.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate. According to Palestinian authorities, ongoing Israeli strikes have caused widespread casualties and left thousands of people affected.

Despite ceasefire arrangements, reports of continued clashes and attacks persist in the region.

The report added that since the October 7 attacks, Israel has repeatedly targeted Hamas leadership inside and outside Gaza, resulting in the deaths of several senior figures.

Analysts say that despite ceasefire agreements, tensions remain extremely high and the situation in the region continues to remain unstable.
