Lahore (HRNW)- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will visit Azerbaijan next week to participate in the 13th World Urban Forum being held in Baku. During the international forum, Maryam Nawaz is expected to present her views on housing, urban planning, and sustainable development in cities around the world.
According to details, the Punjab Chief Minister will depart for Azerbaijan on a five-day official visit on May 17. The World Urban Forum in Baku will continue from May 17 to May 22 and will bring together global leaders, policymakers, and urban development experts from various countries.
Sources said that Maryam Nawaz is also expected to hold meetings with leaders and representatives from other countries during the visit. A delegation of provincial ministers will accompany the Punjab Chief Minister on the official tour.
The participation of Punjab’s chief minister in the global forum is being viewed as an important opportunity to highlight Pakistan’s urban development initiatives and strengthen international cooperation on sustainable city planning.
