Trump Warns Iran Over Strait of Hormuz, Claims Strong U.S. Actions and Talks Underway

Washington (HRNW)- US President Donald Trump has said that Iran wants to try to close the Strait of Hormuz again, but it cannot blackmail the United States.

Speaking to the media in the Oval Office of the White House, Trump said that good negotiations are underway with Iran, but he cannot bend the United States by putting pressure on issues like the Strait of Hormuz.

He claimed that strong actions have been taken against Iran, including targeting Qasem Soleimani and measures against the Iranian leadership. According to him, Qasem Soleimani was responsible for the deaths of several American soldiers. Trump said that important information related to Iran will be revealed by the end of the day today.

Speaking about Spain, the US President said that he regrets its economic situation and said that Spain is not meeting its defense spending in NATO. He said that Spain should have spent 5 percent of its GDP on defense, but it failed.

Trump added that the United States does not need anyone’s permission for its operations, and if necessary, it can also use bases in Spain.

Mentioning the policies of his administration, he said that reforms are underway in the medical sector, the prices of medicines have decreased by 50 to 80 percent, while a decrease in drug trafficking in the United States has also been recorded.
