Barcelona (HRNW)- The Spanish region of Catalonia has recorded a sharp increase in new company registrations during the first three months of the year, reflecting rising business activity and investor confidence.
According to official data, 7,544 new companies were registered from January to March, marking a 36% increase compared to the same period last year.
At the national level, Spain also witnessed strong growth, with 38,226 new companies established during the same period, representing an overall increase of 28%.
Experts say the rise indicates improving economic activity and a growing investment trend, although they caution that global economic uncertainties could influence future performance.
Analysts will continue to monitor whether this momentum is sustained in the coming months amid international market fluctuations.
