Administration Closes All Major Hiking Trails for Public Until Further Notice

Islamabad (HRNW)- The Islamabad district administration has issued an official notification announcing the closure of all major hiking trails in the capital.

According to the notification, Trail 2, Trail 3, Trail 4, Trail 5, and the trail behind Saidpur Village will remain closed for the general public from April 20, 2026, until further orders.

Officials stated that the decision has been taken in the public interest and for administrative reasons, adding that all kinds of public activities at these locations will remain strictly prohibited during the closure period.

The administration has directed Islamabad Police, the Capital Development Authority (CDA), and other relevant departments, including the Ministry of Interior, to ensure strict implementation of the order.

Citizens have been advised to comply with government instructions and avoid visiting the hiking trails during this period.
