Tehran / Tel Aviv (HRNW)- Iran has confirmed that it has launched a hypersonic Al-Fath missile at Israel, further escalating tensions in the region. According to Iranian sources, the attack was carried out in response to recent Israeli actions.

According to military experts, hypersonic missiles are considered the most dangerous weapon in modern warfare technology, the most important of which is its extremely high speed and extraordinary ability to change course.

Speed:
A hypersonic missile travels at a speed at least five times the speed of sound (Mach 5 or more). Due to such a high speed, it becomes very difficult for current air defense systems to track and shoot it down in time.

Ability to change course:
Conventional ballistic missiles usually travel in a fixed arc, however, hypersonic missiles have the ability to change their course while flying at low altitudes. This feature makes them unpredictable for radar systems and increases the chances of reaching the target.

Defense experts say the use of hypersonic missiles could affect the balance of power in the region. Israeli officials have not yet released full details of the effects or damage of this specific missile attack, but the security alert remains in place.

The eyes of the international community are focused on the growing military tension between Iran and Israel, while fears are also being expressed that the situation could worsen further.
