Islamabad (HRNW) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has denied reports claiming that the party’s founder, former Prime Minister Imran Khan, is receiving medical treatment in prison due to high blood pressure or any other illness.
In his statement, Barrister Gohar said that Imran Khan is not under treatment in the jail hospital for high blood pressure or any other medical condition. He rejected the reports circulating on social media and urged the public and media outlets not to share or publish unverified information regarding the health of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
He further stated that he had verified the matter with the relevant authorities and had also informed Imran Khan’s family about the actual situation.
Barrister Gohar added that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are being unjustly detained in prison, and reiterated the party’s demand for their proper medical care and release.
Former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan is currently incarcerated at Adiala Jail.
