Karachi (HRNW) – An important meeting of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) was held at the Bahadurabad Centre under the chairmanship of MQM-P Chairman Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to discuss Independence Day celebrations and organizational matters.
The meeting was attended by senior central leader Syed Amin-ul-Haque and other central leaders, including Shabbir Qaimkhani, Irshad Zafeer, Arshad Hassan, Masood Mahmood, and Sharif Khan, along with other party officials.
During the meeting, MQM-P announced that a grand “Azadi March” (Independence March) will be held on Sunday, August 9, from Ayesha Manzil to Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui directed organizational officials to make comprehensive preparations for celebrating Independence Day festivities.
The meeting was attended by members of the Coordination Committee (COC), heads and members of central departments, MQM-P lawmakers from the National and Provincial Assemblies, and other organizational representatives.
According to the party spokesperson, central leaders and elected representatives have started finalizing various programs planned for Independence Day celebrations.
