Israeli Raids and Settler Attacks Intensify Across Occupied West Bank

RAMALLAH (HRNW)- Israeli military operations and settler-related incidents have reportedly intensified across the occupied West Bank, with arrests, property damage, arson attacks, and clashes affecting several Palestinian communities.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli forces carried out raids in multiple areas, including Qalqilya, Nablus, Beit Aksa, Beit Qad, and Beit Tamer, during which at least six Palestinians were arrested. Reports indicate that the detainees were transferred to undisclosed locations, while further details regarding the arrests were not immediately available.

The report also stated that Israeli settlers allegedly set fire to mosques in the villages of Jaljilia and Al-Mazra’a Al-Nubani. While the full extent of the damage has yet to be determined, local residents strongly condemned the incidents, describing them as attacks on religious sites.

In a separate incident, settlers reportedly attacked Palestinian civilians in the Beita area, leaving at least four people injured. The injured individuals were transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment.

Meanwhile, Israeli military bulldozing and land-clearing operations continued for a second consecutive day in central Jenin. Local sources claim that agricultural land and privately owned property have been affected by the operations.

According to reports, Israeli authorities have also established a new military checkpoint east of Bethlehem, resulting in traffic disruptions and travel difficulties for residents in the area.

Additional reports indicate that settlers damaged Palestinian homes, vehicles, and other property in the villages of Burin and Beita. Community leaders have called on the international community to intervene, warning that such incidents are contributing to rising tensions across the region.

Palestinian officials maintain that Israeli military activities and settler-related attacks in the occupied West Bank have increased in recent months, raising concerns about the safety, security, and livelihoods of civilians living in the affected areas.
