Tehran (HRNW) – Iran has claimed to have carried out a retaliatory strike following what it described as a US attack on an Iranian commercial vessel.
In a statement issued from Tehran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that a vessel allegedly linked to the United States and Israel was targeted with a cruise missile near the Iraqi maritime border. According to the statement, the attack resulted in a powerful explosion aboard the ship.
