FIA Arrests Travel Agent in Shahrah-e-Faisal Visa Fraud Crackdown

Karachi (HRNW)- The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) conducted a raid on an illegal travel agency located on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi, leading to the arrest of Muhammad Hamza, owner of Shaheen Holidays Travels and Tours. Acting on a tip-off, FIA officials targeted the agency for allegedly operating an unlicensed visa and ticketing business. During initial investigation, the accused reportedly confessed to being involved in illegal activities for several months.

Authorities recovered passports, checkbooks, mobile phones, company stamps, computer systems, and other important documents belonging to various citizens. The accused was allegedly collecting passports and fees from individuals under the pretext of securing visas for countries including the USA, Malaysia, and Thailand.

FIA officials confirmed that the suspect has been taken into custody, and case number 150/2026 has been registered. Further investigation is underway, while authorities have intensified action against illegal travel agencies and individuals involved in visa fraud.
